As a dedicated advocate for environmental responsibility, we are excited to introduce you to our innovative Green Box Project, designed to simplify and promote the eco-friendly disposal of electronic waste, while safeguarding your sensitive data.

Electronics Recycling Made Effortless

Imagine a world where responsibly recycling your electronics is as easy as dropping off clothes at donation boxes. With the Green Box Project, ecoTech Management, Inc. has made that vision a reality. This revolutionary initiative features large metal containers strategically placed in accessible public locations, allowing you to conveniently dispose of your unwanted electronic devices, just like dropping off your old clothes for donation.

Our Commitment to Responsible Recycling

At ecoTech, we take the responsibility of handling electronic waste seriously. Our Green Box Project is more than just a collection point – it’s an integral part of our comprehensive electronics recycling ecosystem. When you utilize the Green Box Project, you can trust that your devices are in safe hands.

State-of-the-Art Processing Facility

Once your electronics find a new home in our Green Box, they embark on a journey of sustainable transformation. At our state-of-the-art R2:V3, e-Stewards, and NAID: AAA-certified facility, located in Holbrook, NY, our team of experts employs industry best practices to process and recycle your electronics responsibly.

Data Security at the Forefront

We understand that your personal data is of utmost importance. That’s why our facility adheres to the NIST 800-88 Guidelines for Media Sanitization, ensuring that all personal identifying information is thoroughly removed from your devices before recycling. With our on-site and mobile data destruction processes, you can rest assured that your data is safe.

Your Role in Data Protection

While we have implemented additional safeguards around the Green Box, we recommend following your device manufacturer’s guidelines to reset your electronics before depositing them in the e-waste drop spot. It’s important to note that any data-containing devices deposited in the Green Box are done so at your own risk. Our liability for data breaches only extends once the devices reach our secure facility.

Responsible Battery Recycling

To ensure the safety of both our environment and our team, we kindly request that you remove batteries from your electronics before placing them in the Green Box. Lithium-ion batteries, in particular, pose fire hazards and should never be disposed of in household garbage or recycling bins. For safe and responsible battery recycling, you can drop off non-damaged batteries directly at EcoTech Management, Inc
